Andy Gitipityapon’s career began in banking in 1997, leading to a distinguished career in wealth management. With more than two decades of experience under his belt, Andy provides expertise in retirement planning, insurance, managed accounts, wealth transfers, DSTs, and tax-free wealth solutions for high-income earners today.
From Banking to Securities to Wealth Management
Andy moved from the banking industry to the securities business in 1999 when he joined Great Western Bank (GWB). He served as Senior Vice President at GWB, later when Washington Mutual acquired the company and also when acquired by Chase Bank. During Andy’s 10-year career with Washington Mutual/Chase, he received numerous Leader Circle and President’s Club awards.
After a decade, Andy moved to Citigroup Global Markets, accepting a position as Senior Financial Advisor. He managed his own book and led a team.
In 2019, he joined Western International Securities (WIS), where he is currently a wealth manager. The Westlake Village, California-based WIS became Atria Wealth Solutions and was then bought by LPL Financial in September 2024.
