In a nationwide report by Housing Futures[1], it has been revealed that when looking for a home, 48% of homeowners said a strong community feel is important. Located in the charming village of Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, Countryside development, Harvard Grange, is local to several groups, clubs and events that bring the community together including the annual Village Day.
Harvard Grange features a collection of luxury four to six-bedroom houses and two-bedroom apartments, which are perfectly positioned to enjoy the charm of village life whilst benefiting from superb connections to London. Little Chalfont offers residents a wide range of local organisations and clubs that they can be a part of including: the Women’s Institute; a wine group; Community Association; good companions club; concert organisation, drama society and a choice of sports clubs; tennis, golf, football and cricket.
David Everett, Managing Director of Countryside New Homes and Communities Central Region comments: “At Countryside, we appreciate that development surroundings can be just as important as the property itself. Little Chalfont has such an active community, the annual Village Day was a huge success last year and involves a variety of family friendly activities such as a fun run and a performance from the children that attend the local dance schools. We are sure that residents will find the community feel that they have been looking for in the perfect family home at Harvard Grange.”
The last remaining house, the five-bedroom 2,837ft² Langdell House, is a luxurious home well-suited to family life. It offers a large, open-plan kitchen/family area, and separate open-plan living and dining room, each with double French doors opening onto the garden. The individually-designed, contemporary kitchen features fitted units, stone worktops and ceramic tiling, as well as a range of integrated appliances, including a steam oven, wine cooler and two multifunctional ovens.
Langdell House is set across three floors, featuring a master bedroom with an impressive vaulted ceiling, dressing area and luxurious en suite. All of the bathrooms and en suites are fitted with modern white sanitary ware, chrome accessories and warming rich walnut details throughout. It also offers a double garage, landscaped front and rear gardens, and a hard-wired security system with front and rear wall mounted cameras. The house melds seamlessly with its surroundings, boasting a carefully-considered traditional design, with features including Georgian bar windows and a gated entrance.
Harvard Grange also offers a number of elegant two-bedroom apartments, designed to suit young professionals or downsizers. The properties feature the same luxurious specification as the family homes, with bright open plan kitchen/dining/living areas and large master bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and en suite bathrooms.
Little Chalfont provides a range of local amenities, including a supermarket, post office and pharmacy. The historic market town of Amersham is within easy reach of Harvard Grange, offering a mixture of well-known brands, as well as a range of independent shops and boutiques.
