Award-winning developers Countryside and L&Q are delighted to welcome the Kip McGrath Education Centre Chelmsford North to the Beaulieu Square Neighbourhood Centre. Construction work is well under way on site at Beaulieu Square, which will create a striking new neighbourhood centre, with an excellent range of community facilities for residents to enjoy.
Kip McGrath Education Centres is a global education franchise network, with over 220 tutoring centres in the UK and Ireland and over 550 centres globally. Over the past 40 years, KMEC have helped hundreds of thousands of children improve their English, reading, writing, comprehension and maths skills.
The development at Beaulieu has already attracted close to 100 families with new phases of homes coming to market later this year, and new Centre will be warmly welcomed by the community and those moving to the area.
KMEC offers Maths and English tuition to those looking to improve on their skills, from basic aptitude, preparation for 11+ entry exams, through to GCSE level.
Andrew Carrington, Managing Director of Strategic Land at Countryside, comments: “The new Neighbourhood Centre at Beaulieu is going to be a real hub for the community and the addition of a Kip McGrath centre is incredibly welcome.
“The provision of excellent educational facilities for all ages has always been part of our vision for Beaulieu. This centre of learning, with its outstanding reputation, is a perfect addition to Beaulieu Square. Located next door to the proposed new Beaulieu all–through school, parents will be able to educate their children from pre-school right up to sixth form all in one location and take advantage of the adjacent education centre to help boost their skills in both English and Maths.”
Beaulieu Square consists of five attractive buildings, positioned around a central landscaped square, and will include a range of retail outlets, the Beaulieu Community Centre, Bright Horizons Day Nursery, and a Sainsbury’s Local Foodstore. Beaulieu Square will have excellent pedestrian and cycle access, as well as plenty of car and bicycle parking spaces.
Jerome Geoghegan, Group Director at L&Q said: “Beaulieu Square has been designed to serve as the ‘heart of Beaulieu’, so we are delighted to secure the leading Kip McGrath brand. We want Beaulieu Square to be a well-used and much loved facility and with the broad range of amenities we are providing here, for residents of all ages, we are confident that it will bring the Beaulieu and wider community together.”
Business partners for Kip McGrath Education Centre Chelmsford North, Tim Horton and Mark Arrowsmith, added: “We have been looking for a location to set up this franchise for some time and we are thrilled that we will be opening in this brand new square in the very heart of Beaulieu. The area has a fantastic reputation for education, and with the additional new schools being provided at Beaulieu, we hope to become an invaluable resource for parents and their children. We are looking forward to launching our new centre and welcoming the residents.”
Situated off White Hart Lane, Beaulieu Square is conveniently located for both the residents of Springfield and Beaulieu. The county’s first all-through school will be built next door offering early years, primary and secondary education all on one campus.
Designed as a vibrant new district for Chelmsford, with inspiring architecture and attractive landscaping, Beaulieu is a great place for people to live, work and play. Set around the majestic backdrop of New Hall School and its estate parkland, where King Henry VIII once had his Palace, the development has been planned to create a series of distinctly designed neighbourhoods linked by beautiful parklands and open spaces.
