Countryside’s Parkside Place in Wembley is the only development in North West London offering access to much-needed three-bedroom houses through the London Help to Buy scheme.  As a result, buyers without large deposits can purchase the space they need, close to Central London.  According to Zoopla[1] and Rightmove[2], buyers would need to travel nine miles further north to Cockfosters or ten miles west to Uxbridge, before finding another three-bedroom house through the London Help to Buy scheme.

Amanda Nesbitt, Associate Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside Partnerships South comments: “The London Help to Buy scheme available at Parkside Place offers home hunters in North West London a unique opportunity to purchase a larger home with a smaller deposit. It is perfect for families needing extra space for children and older relatives, who would otherwise be completely priced out of the market. We’re proud to be accommodating this demand in North West London; with 70% of the houses already sold and 85% of the development sold overall, buyers should move quickly.”

Through London Help to Buy, property purchasers in London can access a Government equity loan of up to 40% of their property’s value. The scheme is available for new build properties up to £600,000 and it is open to all buyers, not just first timers. With a minimum of just 5% deposit payable, the buyer only needs to get a mortgage for the remaining amount, making mortgage repayments considerably more affordable. Priced at £599,995 for the three-bedroom townhouses and from £525,000 for three-bedroom duplex apartments, all homes at Parkside Place fall within the threshold of the scheme, enabling those who might not otherwise be able to buy a family home in London to get on the property ladder.

The Richmond three-bedroom townhouses and their innovative architecture is designed to blend with the existing setting.  The homes incorporate a modern kitchen and separate spacious living / dining area, leading out to the raised rear courtyard garden, providing the ideal space for entertaining. An excellent specification runs throughout the house, with a contemporary stone grey kitchen, including handleless cabinets, reconstituted stone worktops and fully integrated appliances.

On the first floor are two bedrooms and a family bathroom, whilst there is also a shower room at ground floor level. Occupying the top floor is the light-filled master bedroom, making the perfect retreat. This bedroom features a roof terrace, offering a private escape from the rest of the house, as well as fitted wardrobes and a luxurious en suite.  Bathrooms provide sleek white sanitary ware with chrome accessories, thermostatic showers and ceramic tiles to the floors and walls. Stylish, yet hardwearing timber effect flooring runs throughout the living areas, while the bedrooms are fitted with carpet and kitchen with porcelain tiles.

The duplex apartments at Parkside Place are architecturally designed with modern living in mind, offering imaginative spaces and innovative contemporary interiors. Open plan layouts are flexible and fluid, with large windows to maximise natural light and a private terrace, balcony or winter garden to every home, while residents of the Primrose and Regent Buildings also enjoy exclusive access to a beautiful landscaped podium garden.

Parkside Place is located in an enviable position opposite the historic Barham Park, which is packed with mature trees, water features, flower beds and a peaceful walled garden. Wembley has numerous green open spaces and parks where residents can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, while being located just five minutes from Sudbury Town tube station on the Piccadilly line. National Rail services and the Bakerloo line run from Wembley Central to Paddington in just twenty minutes, while the North Circular, A40 and the M4 are all within easy reach, connecting to central London and the UK’s wider motorway network.

There are a number of primary and secondary schools within a one mile radius of the development, including the Sudbury Primary School and the Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Wembley High Technology College, serving secondary age school children and sixth formers.
