Mapping the Price of a Pint
“Location is of great importance for any trade, but in the pub industry this is perhaps most visible on the price of the pint. According to the Good Pub Guide, there is a difference of almost £1 in the price of the same pint depending on where you buy it, the cheapest being in Hertfordshire and the most expensive, perhaps not surprisingly, in London. There is also a shocking contrast in between European countries, where the same pint can cost up to 7 times more in particular countries.”
