MyFirmsApp Accelerates Rapidly With 300% Growth and a Doubling of Customer Base

Apps come to the rescue of accounting firms worldwide that need a mobile solution to communicate with clients
MyFirmsApp, the largest global custom App platform in the world for accountants in practice, today announced that it has achieved 300% growth in the last 24 months and has doubled the customer base. There are now over 1,000 firms with a custom App developed by the company and over 250,000 people are using them.
30 of the top 100 UK firms are customers including Duncan &Toplis, Streets, Tait Walker and Silver Levene and notable Australian clients include RSM, BDO, DFK Crosbie, William Buck and in the US, Somerset CPAs and Brown Graham and Company.
These Apps leverage the power of mobile technology and put the accountant right at the centre of the digital world giving firms the ability to communicate with their clients ‘anytime, anywhere and on any device’. A custom App soon becomes a go-to resource and the principal point of contact for everything connected with accounts, finance, tax and their business.
This is currently the only proven platform to provide tools such as GPS mileage tracking and Photo receipt management and to hold all online portal and accounts software logins in a single interface. It is easy to communicate through the App 1:1, to a segmented group, or to all users at once – using push notifications which are proven to be 5x more effective than email and helps the accountant retain ownership of the all important digital client relationship.
Notable achievements in the last 12 months include:
- One of an elite group given the go-ahead to build Artificial Intelligence into web, mobile and connected-device Apps using the next generation technology platform, Amazon Lex
- Named Best new Online App for 2017 by respected US publication Accounting Today
- Launched new ‘Collect’ App-driven solution to help accountants collect information from their clients using their Smartphones
- Named as a Finalist in the Mobile Innovation Category of the DL100 Awards
- Only one of two UK software companies to receive an invitation to join the Gathering of Eagles round table event for CPAs in New York
- Increased head count by 50%
Joel Oliver, CEO, said: “MyFirmsApp is going through a period of phenomenal growth and these figures reinforce our position as the largest global App platform in the world for accountants. We have celebrated some fantastic wins in 2017, which we believe is down to our investment in leading edge technology and the potential for the company is huge as fewer than 5% of accounting firms currently have their own custom App. Our Apps are coming to the rescue of accounting firms worldwide that need a mobile solution to communicate with clients. These are exciting times.”
