comparecover.com has been designed by Investment Discounts Online Ltd., who, via theidol.com have provided discounted life insurance online for over 15 years.  Through its implementation of a commission-sharing, non-fee charging model, it is able to enhance the savings on premiums offered to customers, savings that will continue each month throughout the policy lifetime.

Paul Tyson, comparecover.com managing director explains,

“Having been involved with the discounting of life premiums for customers for such a long time, we know that they value the savings it provides to them throughout the term of their policies. With comparecover.com we continue with these discounts making our policies amongst the best value on the market but also, following any purchase of a life insurance or critical illness policy from us, we will donate to a local charity of our customer’s choice from a selected panel.

“The comparecover.com price comparison website will feature market leading life insurance products from well-known UK providers including Zurich, LV, Legal and General, and AVIVA, all of which will offer a reduced premium as a result of comparecover.com taking less commission from the providers.

“Our site has also been designed to be extremely user friendly and informative, meaning products and packages can be easily compared, contrasted and purchased on line. We also have a dedicated customer service team to offer personalised support where needed as well as the ability to introduce customers to a qualified adviser should this be required.”

The site is expected to gain significant market share for the firm, which pledges to offer cheaper prices than buying direct from the insurer or Banks and charge no fee or hidden costs.  Preston continues:

“Our extensive industry experience and relationships with major providers in this sector make us perfectly placed to offer consumers an effective platform for the purchase of life insurance products. Our aim is to provide value for consumers, whilst educating and informing them so that they can buy with confidence. We believe that comparecover.com achieves this. Being based in Cumbria, we understand the value of communities and the need to support local organisations where possible. By providing a donation to regional charities for each purchase made, we believe customers will recognise this as a positive addition to them obtaining their life protection at great value.”

comparecover.com intend to also provide comparison services for other products in the near future including travel insurance and pet insurance; areas in which they have extensive experience and expertise.
