New Riverside Homes In Royal Greenwich Coming Soon
Published On :
A view of the Thames is London’s most valued asset when it comes to the premium it adds to a property, according to new research from Cluttons[1]. A new collection of homes with impressive Thames views is coming soon to the market at The River Gardens in Royal Greenwich, developed by Bellway Thames Gateway. As well as an impressive 300-metre river frontage, the development also boasts a concierge, swimming pool and gym for residents’ private use.
The Cluttons research found that in zone two locations such as the Isle of Dogs and Greenwich, the difference in value between riverside and non-riverside properties was around 25%, compared with much higher premiums for zone one locations.
Bellway Thames Gateway is preparing to unveil the much-anticipated final phase of The River Gardens, comprising more than 250 stylish new apartments in a range of one, two and three bedroom layouts that will suit a range of buyers. The homes are set in a series of five sleek buildings that form part of this exciting new waterside community. Most of the apartments look onto the river and have fantastic panoramic views of the city.
Emma Denton, Head of Sales at Bellway Homes Thames Gateway, comments: “There is huge appeal in living next to the water and due to the natural limit on this type of development available, buying a property in a new landmark riverside development is a shrewd long-term investment. Given the success of the earlier phases of The River Gardens, we are confident that there will be strong interest in our forthcoming launch, so anyone keen to find out more is advised to register their interest early.”
As well as sweeping waterside views, every home at The River Gardens boasts the high quality interior specification that Bellway is known for, including a full range of integrated appliances, modern bathroom suites and high standards of energy efficiency. Private outdoor space is provided for each property in the form of a spacious balcony and parking is available to purchase. To make residents’ lives easier, the 24-hour concierge service is on hand to help and the deluxe private gym and swimming pool on site make it easy to keep active.
Bellway’s development follows the same exterior architectural design as previous phases of The River Gardens, incorporating extensive glazing that ensures all interiors are light-filled and airy. Outside four landscaped gardens are being created for residents to enjoy, as well as a new upgrade to the Thames Path making it perfect for getting outdoors, exploring the local area and enjoying the waterside setting.
The River Gardens is conveniently located in walking distance of the centre of historic Greenwich, with its vibrant market, restaurants, cafes and shops. Ideal for commuters, CuttySark DLR station is a mile away from the development providing quick connections to Canary Wharf and the City. Mainline rail services operate from Greenwich station and the area is served by an extensive local bus network. And if you can’t get enough of those riverside views, it is easy to commute by boat with services running from Greenwich Pier.
