BUSINESS

Software developer, Reckon, has unveiled a new Partner Directory platform, connecting small businesses across the UK with accounting specialists.

The new tool allows users of Reckon One; the cloud based accounting software for small businesses, to access the details of accountants and bookkeepers with a certified knowledge of the platform.

As Government legislation for Making Tax Digital approaches, the platform aims to equip small businesses with a helping hand in the field of online accounting and reporting.

Application to become a Reckon One Partner is available via online sign up and the partner programme enables accountants and bookkeepers access to specialist Reckon resources, including their own Reckon One account, marketing tools, dedicated support and training.

Reckon’s commercial director, Mark Woolley said: “In our mission to create something superior that would better the lives of millions of small businesses, creating the Partner Directory tool is incredibly important.

“Connecting SMEs with Reckon accountants will help to ensure a smoother transition to digital accounting and tax reporting, in line with Government’s Making Tax Digital vision.”

The Reckon team offers a 24/7 support service with an immediate response rate and Reckon One is available to purchase from £3 per month.
