Research by the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt’s OPENspace research centre has added weight to a growing body of evidence that living in greener areas reduces stress[1]. The study of 35 to 55 year olds found that every 1% increase in green space resulted in a corresponding decrease in stress levels.
