Start 2018 In Style At South Oxhey Central
Published On :
Award-winning home builder, Countryside is preparing to launch the first phase of its latest development, South Oxhey Central. Reinvigorating South Oxhey, this highly anticipated scheme is set to deliver over 500 new homes to the Watford area, along with a new retail square, community facilities and a range of green spaces. For home hunters keen to benefit from the transformation, the wait is over, with a contemporary collection of 63 stylish one and two-bedroom apartments in the first phase launching in January 2018.
South Oxhey Central will be split into three phases over five years. The new one and two-bedroom apartments are located on the south-western side of the site, only a short walk from Carpenders Park Overground station, where residents can reach London Euston in less than 45 minutes or Watford in less than 15 minutes. The homes have been designed to a high specification with modern living in mind, providing flexible spaces and each offering its own private balcony.
Tom O’Shea, Sales Manager at Countryside Partnerships South, comments: “Home hunters that missed out on the opportunity to purchase at our Hayling Place development in South Oxhey earlier this year will be pleased to discover the launch of South Oxhey Central in the New Year. This is an exciting scheme and we have already received a lot of interest ahead of the launch from purchasers who are keen to reap the rewards of living at the heart of this community. I recommend that potential purchasers register their interest as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.”
Contemporary open-plan living spaces with German-made kitchens feature sleek integrated cabinetry and a range of appliances including microwave/oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Spacious living areas offer the ideal space to unwind, and bathrooms feature classic white sanitary-ware, chrome accessories and ceramic tiling throughout. Every home also comes with a 10-year NHBC warranty.
The development will include the creation of Station Square, which will pedestrianise the approach to Carpenders Park station, a brand new public space surrounded by retail and food outlets. This will be a hub of the new neighbourhood, ideal for socialising and offering a range of diverse retailers for residents’ convenience. The flexible space will also provide the perfect location for regular markets and seasonal events, encouraging the community to come together. In addition, the third and final phase of the development will include a Lidl Supermarket, scheduled to open mid-2022.
Carpenders Park station is less than a 5-minute walk from South Oxhey Central, reaching the Bakerloo line in eight minutes, and London Euston station can be reached directly in under 45 minutes. Nearby Watford Junction is also well linked, with fast journey times into London. The development also has excellent road access and is situated under seven miles from the M25, connecting to London and beyond.
