Sun Park Offers A Bright Light For Homebuyers

Published On :

Current homebuyers put off by stamp duty charges now have an excellent opportunity to make their desired move without having to pay the hefty sum. Bellway are offering stamp duty paid on selected properties at Sun Park in Farnborough, Hampshire. For full details, please the press release below:

High stamp duty charges have caused the number of house movers to fall for the first time since 2011, according to Lloyds Bank[1]. Many house buyers have been affected by the rise in the tax last year, coupled with the cost of moving homes – currently averaging £11,000. However, at Sun Park in Farnborough, Hampshire, Bellway Homes is offering to alleviate this cost by paying the stamp duty on selected housetypes, thus saving homebuyers over £9,500.

Sun Park comprises a superb collection of two, three and four bedroom homes in a variety of styles, appealing to a range of homebuyers. The development has proved very popular since its launch, with 90% now sold. Bellway’s Part Exchange scheme is also available with this development which will speed up the moving process. This should be welcome news for keen buyers, as the average time to sell a house now stands at 72 days[2].

Sales Director at Bellway Thames Valley, Steve Garton, comments: “Sun Park has been hugely successful, appealing to young professionals, upsizers and those squeezed out of London by high prices.  Now with just 10% of homes left, we’re urging buyers to visit the development and take a look for themselves at the superb selection of residences still available. The three-bed Newton housetype is a great example of the homes we are offering as part of the Stamp Duty deal. We appreciate that moving costs maybe out of reach to some, but by removing the financial hurdle and helping them speed-up the sale of their current home, we hope to make the moving process a much more viable option. However, this is a limited offer, so buyers do need to act quickly to take advantage.”

The Newton is an attractive family home comprising three floors with spacious open-plan living areas, finished to a superior specification. The ground floor is home to a front-facing kitchen, furnished with stylish Roundel units and completed with an integrated Zanussi oven, hob and chimney hood. At the rear of the property is an open-plan living and dining area, where residents can enjoy the natural light which floods through from elegant French doors, leading onto the rear garden.

On the first floor, there is one double and one single bedroom served by a contemporary family bathroom, featuring quality Roca sanitaryware and finished with attractive chrome fittings. The second floor is home to the superb master bedroom which overlooks the landscaped front garden via a stylish dormer window. This spacious bedroom benefits from a fitted wardrobe and a modern en-suite with shower facilities.

Farnborough, located near the Hampshire/Surrey Border, is a fantastic location offering a wealth of amenities, facilities and superb transport links all within the locality. For shopping, residents are close to the Blackwater Shopping Park which sells almost everything one could want from a large range of shops. Farnborough is close to many other great shopping centres such as Guildford, Farnham and Camberley, while the M&S in Camberley is one of the largest in the country.

Sun Park also benefits from being close to several good primary and secondary schools, as well as one of the UK’s best performing colleges, Farnborough Sixth Form college and the University of Reading – is a little over 30 minutes’ drive away.

Ideal for commuters, Sun Park has excellent transport links. Junction 4A of the M3 is just a few minutes’ drive away with links into London and the south, while those planning on travelling further afield can reach Heathrow Airport in under 30 minutes. Farnborough train station, less than a ten minute drive, provides travel into London Waterloo in as little as 34 minutes.
