Tribe celebrate third birthday with launch of new website
Published On :
Since their inception in 2016, furniture specialists, Tribe, who have completed projects with global brands like Revolut and Formula-E, are pleased to be celebrating their third anniversary, reflecting on the journey made over the past three years and significant growth they’ve experienced within the market. The team are setting the celebrations in motion with the launch of their new website.
Part of the ThirdWay Group, and recently included in the Top 10 for The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list, Tribe was founded by Managing Director, Mike McKeown, following a number of years previously working within the furniture industry. From their first office in Farringdon as a humble team of four, the company has now quadrupled in size and can now be found in the heart of London’s furniture district, Clerkenwell. The new website reflects Tribe’s maturity and growth since their inception in 2016, without losing their playful touch, which has always been at the heart of Tribe.
As a result of the team’s extensive combined experience, knowledge and close industry relationships, they’ve grown their supplier relations exponentially and they now have access to over 350 different manufacturers, enabling them to provide a completely tailored and bespoke service.
Impeccable delivery and close relations with clients are still at the heart of operations for Tribe, but the team have big plans for the future, with expansion into European markets and beyond on the horizon. There’s also appetite to explore the use of new and innovative technologies, and how they can be incorporated to improve efficiency and smoothen the project process.
2019 has also seen the beginning of a new direction after partnering with educational charity, Sabre Education, who work directly in Ghana to improve the futures of poor and marginalised children by building better schools and improving teaching facilities. Tribe will be looking to offer its clients furniture “twinning” packages across all of their projects which will fund furnishing Kindergarten schools across Ghana.
Managing Director, Mike McKeown, credits the team and its culture for a lot of the success behind Tribe so far:
“The team, the family, the ‘Tribe’ is where it all began and the heart of what we do. We’re fortunate enough to have a 100% employee retention rate which is rare in the industry these days. You only have to spend a few hours with anyone in the team to see how passionate we are about what we do, the industry and all of the projects we’re involved with.”
