UK retail sales rise by 0.8% in October: ONS

LONDON (Reuters) – British retail sales rose by 0.8% last month, a bigger rise than expected, official data showed on Friday.
A Reuters poll of economists had pointed to a 0.5% month-on-month increase in sales volumes.
