Property prices at London’s Nine Elms have seen a rise, according to the world’s leading commercial real estate services and investment firm, CBRE Research. The extensive regeneration at Nine Elms, in the London borough of Southwark, has led to a 16% rise in house price growth in the last year alone. This is higher than the average property price rise across the city. The major regeneration project will bring new jobs, facilities and travel infrastructure to the area, including a new Apple HQ and American Embassy Office. Homeowners and investors interested in buying at this sought-after new South London destination should look to Bellway Homes’ new development The Residence, an exclusive collection of new homes launching this Thursday (March 2nd) ideal for young couples, professionals and investors alike.
The Residence, in Ponton Road, will comprise a stunning collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, attuned to the demands of modern, city living. It forms part of the major transformation of this once industrial area into a thriving residential and business district, at the heart of the capital. What was once an industrial hub has been transformed and is becoming a unique destination for Londoners, with plenty of amenities and transports links to attract buyers and investors. We’re thrilled to be offering homebuyers a fantastic choice of modern apartments in this sought-after location, especially with offer of Help to Buy, for those who need financial assistance.
“The homes are superbly appointed and will enjoy picturesque views over the River Thames, or surrounding piazzas, parks and public spaces. Due to the areas popularity and lucrative investment offerings, we’re expecting these homes to sell quickly and would encourage buyers to register their interest to avoid disappointment.”
Internally, the apartments will boast a contemporary design and an exceptional specification. Kitchens will offer quality appliances and bathrooms offer spa-like fittings. Residents will also have the luxury of an on-site gym, cinema room, private function room and a concierge service. A number of apartments will also offer views of the new American Embassy, which is under construction opposite The Residence and is due for completion in 2017.
The area will provide residents of the new homes in Nine Elms with a myriad of leisure opportunities on their doorstep. Retail is a major focus of the area’s transformation, with outdoor shopping areas and parades attracting retailers large and small, enhancing existing stores in the area, offering plenty of shopping choices for residents.
Transport options are extensive, making the new homes ideal for commuters. Several local bus routes go into central London and south to Clapham and Wandsworth, and Vauxhall, a short walk away, offers underground services on the Victoria Line, as well as national rail services into London Waterloo, Clapham and Surrey and Hampshire.
