The hotel will offer extensive and virtually endless services including options of private butlers, personal assistants, personal shoppers, personal trainers, ‘insider’ city tours etc. For children not just a nanny service but passionate childcare enthusiasts whom are available to enhance a child’s wonder:visit museums, take private art classes or practice a new language. No request is too large or too small for the service team.
TwentySeven is a dream, truly in a league of its own. Holland, maybe even Europe, has never seen this before. A 6-star hotel on all levels from exceptional and unique design detail to each carefully selected material to the artwork to the personalized services offered, even the location is a dream. While the hotel is being touted by journalists and hospitality experts as a 6-star property,it has not currently been officially classified as so.
TwentySeven is located in the true center of Amsterdam, on Dam Square, the most significant square of the city, the heart of the historical center and home of the Royal Palace. The hotel has been very consciously and tastefully constructed into the iconic, monumental building of The KoninklijkeIndustrieele Groote Club (Royal Industrial Club) where for decade’s industry tycoons and entrepreneurs have come together. The building, with a rich history, dates back to 1913. Hotel suites offer spectacular and completely soundproofed views over Dam Square, the Royal Palace, Rokin and the city center.
Thehotel has 16-suites, ranging from 45 square meters up to the largest suite of 219 square meters, which includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 Jacuzzis and a private terrace of an additional 27 square meters.
TwentySeven will house top restaurant: Bougainville, by Master Chef Pascal Jalhay. Heis seen as one of the most innovative chefs of his generation. Jalhay’s former restaurant Vermeer was awarded two Michelin stars in less than two years, making him the youngest chef in the country to receive this honour. Bougainville will offer the finest gastronomic experience. Lendl Mijnhijmer, winner of the McNie Tasting Trophy 2016 for best wine taster of the world and named most talented sommelier 2017 by GaultMillau, will assist as wine director. Bougainville will be open to the public and to hotel guests; reservations already have a waiting list.
The signature bar, made of specialty cut onyx, is headed by top award winning Mixologists and will feature a never been done before menu of discerning probiotic cocktails and more.
European hotelier of the year 2014 and European general manager of the year 2015 Eric Toren sees Hotel TwentySeven as a dream come true. His former hotel, The Toren, was named best hotel in The Netherlands by TripAdvisor for the past six consecutive years and has won numerous other awards, such as Best City Boutique Hotel in the World 2012 by Boutique Hotel Awards, Most Luxurious and Romantic Hotel in 2013 by World Luxury Hotel Awards and Best Boutique Hotel in Europe by Boutique Hotel Awards 2014. Toren is raising the bar with TwentySeven, re-defining luxury in Amsterdam.
The philosophy of Toren is to think from the guest’s experience. “What is needed to create a complete dream experience, through all of the human senses?”,Toren asked. “TwentySeven is so much more than just a hotel. We are creating a dream environment. No expense has been spared. Not only is every detail the best in luxury, but also all details are unique, details that no other hotel has. This is why TwentySeven is the biggest talk of the town and the country. The word is spreading quickly throughout Europe and soon the world.”
All human senses have been dreamed out in extraordinary detail. Enormous amounts were spent per suite to create perfect sound insulation for guests. The 10 centimeter thick door of each suite is fully soundproof and handmade, never done before in Europe. Every surface of TwentySeven has a unique touch. Visual stimulation takes over with every turn, the design and detail is breathtaking. Restaurant Bougainville, with 24-hour food service options to guests, will offer a dream to the taste buds. A signature scent has been created exclusively for TwentySeven, it is said to have a soft air of elegance, sensuality, deepness and richness to match the atmosphere.
A small hint of the design detail in the hotel includes;a grandiose hand-blown glass light sculpture chandelier, plummeting from the sky light of the atrium through the center of the hotel, cascading 4 floors down. Limited editions of art are on display and guests have access to private gallery events and viewings. Each suite has: handmade carpets of silk sprawled over handmade wooden floors, grand bathrooms with sleek marble and mosaics, 2 person Jacuzzis, 2-person steam shower and touch screens for personalized mood lighting and atmospheric settings.
Toren: “Hotel TwentySeven is the most opulent sanctuary The Netherlands have to offer. Defying logic and re-defining luxury in Amsterdam, no detail has gone unnoticed.”
