Hertsmere Mews Homes In High Demand
Published On :
After the hugely successful launch of the first phase at Hertsmere Mews, Bellway Homes has only 16 homes available on its first phase of its Borehamwood development. Buyers from across Hertfordshire camped out for three nights to wait for the eagerly anticipated development to launch with over half of its first available homes sold on its first day. After 112 visitors attended the launch there are now only nine apartments and seven houses available to purchase from phase one.
A great example of the homes available at Hertsmere Mews is the Cushing house type – a spacious three-bedroom home spread over three floors. On the ground floor, the kitchen is complemented with Symphony fitted units and integrated appliances, including an extractor, gas hob, fan oven and fridge freezer. An open-plan living/dining room also has French doors giving access to the garden. A cloakroom is located in the hallway. On the first floor, the second and third bedroom share a contemporary family bathroom. The entire second floor is given to the master bedroom, which boasts a dressing area and an en suite with both a bath and shower enclosure. Residents also benefit from two parking spaces.
Kevin Bowles, Sales Manager for Bellway Homes North London, comments: “We are delighted with the response from our opening launch for Hertsmere Mews, with over half of the properties already snapped up. It was positive to see so many people camping out for a Bellway home, which goes to show we have a great product and can provide the much-needed housing for the area. Due to the overwhelming interest we have received, we urge potential buyers to register their interest now on our remaining homes at this development.”
Residents will be ideally located within walking distance to a wealth of shopping opportunities, with several supermarkets nearby, including Tesco and Lidl both less than a 10-minute walk away. Borehamwood Shopping Park also hosts a selection of large retailers, including Next, Debenhams, Argos, and M&S Simply Food, all just a four-minute drive from Hertsmere Mews.
Borehamwood has a rich history in the film and entertainment industry and Hertsmere Mews are just a two-minute walk from the famous Elstree Film Studios, which is home to popular television shows such as Strictly Come Dancing. Ideal for active residents, the area also includes many recreational opportunities. For sporting activities, there are two leisure centres within a 10-minute walk of Hertsmere Mews, or regular football matches at Meadow Park, home to Borehamwood FC and Arsenal FC ladies. Borehamwood also offers several parks, including award-winning Aberford Park, with lakes and fountains to explore, two childrens’ play areas, a skate park and a sensory play area.
Borehamwood has superb travel connections into the city. Ideal for commuters, the area offers a 24-minute commute into London from Elstree &Borehamwood Station, just a five-minute drive from the development. By car, major roads are easily accessible, including the A1, M1 and M25 motorways. Luton Airport is also a 30 minutes’ drive away via the M1, and Heathrow is around 40 minutes’ via the M25.
For families, the area is home to several highly regarded schools, including St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School and Cowley Hill School for younger pupils, and Hertswood Academy for secondary school students.
