Ashwood Launching Soon In Solihull – The Uk’s Newest Property Hotspot
Published On :
Solihull is the most in demand area for property in the UK, according to eMoov’s latest National Hotspots Index.[1] The research reveals that Solihull saw the biggest percentage of houses sold compared to anywhere else at the end of 2016. For buyers keen to move to the popular area, Spitfire Bespoke Homes will soon be launching Ashwood, an exclusive collection of two to five-bedroom homes in the picturesque village of Hockley Heath, in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull.
Situated just off School Road in a secluded courtyard setting, the development, comprises just fourteen houses, including four highly desirable bungalows designed to harmonise with Hockley Heath’s architectural heritage.
John Scott, Sales and Marketing Director of Spitfire Bespoke Homes comments: “It is unsurprising that Solihull is so popular with homebuyers. It offers excellent amenities, and is in close-proximity to Birmingham, yet three-quarters of the borough is defined as green belt. The village of Hockley Heath has something for everyone, young and old, which the mixture of homes available at Ashwood really reflects. We would advise all interested parties to register their interest as soon as possible as we anticipate strong demand for these stunning new homes.”
Ashwood is accessed via a private drive through electronically operated gates, leading to the courtyard at the heart of the development. The homes’ exteriors are in keeping with Ashwood’s mature location, featuring traditional red brick, classic timber window frames, painted doors, oak finished garage doors and grey or brown tiled roofs. Inside, the properties benefit from bright, open-plan interiors, boasting luxury features and cutting-edge, contemporary design.
Ashwood is perfectly located for families, with a wide selection of schools in the surrounding area, including Hockley Heath Academy which has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. For older children, there is Arden Academy in nearby Knowle, and Tudor Grange Academy and St Peter’s Catholic School, both in Solihull, which have all been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. For fee-paying parents, there are also a number of private schools, including Eversfield Preparatory School, Ruckleigh School, St Martin’s School and Solihull School.
Hockley Heath is nestled in the West Midlands countryside, combining the tranquillity of a rural village with the spirit of a thriving local community. The village is home to an assortment of independent shops, traditional pubs and restaurants, and the community supports a range of organised clubs and activities including dancing, sports, bowls and gardening.
Just five miles north of Hockley Heath is the leafy town of Solihull, whose town centre has a wide variety of supermarkets, shops, cafés and restaurants, including the stylish Touchwood Shopping Centre. There is also an excellent selection of health clubs, and more than 1,500 acres of parks and open spaces to explore. Meanwhile, cosmopolitan Birmingham is only 15 miles from the village, offering a wealth of culture, entertainment and nightlife.
Ashwood is ideal for commuters, benefiting from excellent transport links. The M40, M42 and M5 are all within easy reach, with the M42 providing easy access to Birmingham International Airport. Regular services from nearby Dorridge Railway Station into Birmingham city centre take just over 30 minutes, while direct trains to London Marylebone take an hour and 45 minutes.
