One third of people in the UK admit to leaving their Christmas shopping to the week before Christmas[i]. The study by leading online lender MYJAR.com also reveals that half of the 2,000 respondents often end up panic buying without putting any real thought into their gifts. Whether its Christmas shopping or bargains in the January sales, prospective buyers at Notting Hill Genesis’ exciting Manor Place Depot development in Elephant & Castle, will be perfectly placed to stock up on gifts from some of the capital’s most renowned shopping districts in plenty of time before the festive season.

Located in the heart of the lively and diverse south-east London district of Walworth, Manor Place Depot is less than a mile from Elephant & Castle tube station. In Zone 1, residents can jump on the Bakerloo line and hit the hundreds of retail stores on Oxford Street in under 15 minutes, the quirky finds in Covent Garden and luxury brands in Mayfair in 20 minutes or recently crowned the UK’s number one shopping centre,[ii] Westfield Shepherds Bush in around 30 minutes. Closer to home, residents will benefit from a £1.5billion regeneration programme that will deliver a newly designed town centre and shopping centre to Elephant and Castle, featuring 170,000 sqft of new shops and restaurants, a multi-screen cinema and a 500-capacity cultural venue, as well as a network of interlinking green spaces.

Manor Place Depot comprises a stylish collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments across three buildings, with some homes enjoying views of The Shard and The London Eye from their balconies. Central to the development is a courtyard garden space, with designated seating areas encouraging a community feel amongst residents. A selection of independent retail and entertainment spaces cleverly built into characterful redeveloped viaduct arches, with commercial spaces within two revitalised heritage buildings offers buyers a truly unique and distinctive living environment in one of London’s most sought-after urban locations.
